Hi Max,
I am looking for a standards convertor to get 50hz video out of my memoskop sub (currently 100hz)for a DVD and video printer? Have looked at a few commercially available units but cant find something simple and relatively cheap. Can anyone help?

Ok, the memoskop sub can be programmed using the "control T" function on the cart keyboard. Password is 'techuser' and then choose option 2. Select your scan rate. However, I don't think that will solve your dilemma. I need more info about your setup.
How many monitors are on the cart. What is the model number of the monitors. What country is the unit in and what was the country of origen. Your problem for printing is not the memoskop. Its the camera. The printer function of the memoskop is a passthrough signal directly from the camera. It can be fixed but I need more info.

Hi Max,#
OK the Unit is a UK model still in use in the UK. It has twin monitors both model 110 2628 X2080. I have a Kodak MIM 100 set up on the video output but this will handle 100Hz video with no problem. I need 50Hz video for the DVD recorder and video printer the customer wants to use. I have had these units before with a standards converter fitted which also enables the playback video to be upscaled to use the 100Hz monitors on the stack. These were fitted by Siemens at some point.
Any help gratefully received

Ok Ed,
So you need the upconverter for the output of the DVD throught the Cart Monitor (if I am understanding you correctly). Email me directly at
max@gecousa.com
with your phone number to discuss this in detail. There are many options and we should discuss it.
